Kui Dong 董夔

Kui Dong’s music has been described as “ceaselessly compelling,” “exceptional beauty and imagination,” and “beautiful and haunting and thought-provoking” by publications including The Washington Post, Gramophone, and the San Francisco Examiner. Praised for its 21st-century sensibilities, her work has been commissioned and performed by leading ensembles and institutions worldwide, including the Arditti Quartet, Third Coast Percussion, Spain’s Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, and the Orchestra and Chorus of the National Centre for the Performing Arts of China. She has received awards and honors from institutions such as the Guggenheim Foundation, Opera America, the Serge Koussevitzky Music Foundation, the Fromm Music Foundation, Ars Electronica, and the Tanglewood Music Center and Festival. Kui Dong is Professor of Music Composition at Dartmouth College. Also active as a pianist in free improvisation, Dong writes prose fiction; her first novel, The Story of a Little Soldier, was published in 2022 by Knowledge Press in China.

Dr. Na Zang. PhD in Aesthetics of Literature and Arts. Master in Communication and Journalism. She has worked in the field of cultural communication for many years, organizing and accomplishing several influential public relations activities. Since her PhD program, she has had more than 10 years of teaching and research experience in American and Chinese universities and colleges. Her research fields include Media Literacy, Aesthetics of Literature and Arts, TCSOL and Culture. Dr. Na Zang has published books, and several peer-reviewed papers related to the above fields.

臧娜博士,文艺美学博士,传播学和教育学双硕士。曾在文化传播领域供职多年,主持和完成了多项有一定影响的公共关系活动。博士毕业至今,在中美两国的专业院校有十余年的教学和科研经历。研究领域包括媒介文化、美学理论、语言与文化传播。在相关领域出版了多部著作以及同行评审核心文章。

Hong Wang is an internationally acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and musicologist. Formerly a research fellow at the China Conservatory of Music and Music Director for the Chinese Music Revival Project of the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) and Beijing Thirteen Months, he has dedicated his career to the field research and scholarly study of traditional Eastern music. An active global soloist, Wang collaborates frequently with leading symphony orchestras and is a prominent voice in Hollywood film, television, and gaming scores. Celebrated for his mastery of diverse instruments, The Los Angeles Times hailed him as a "one-man band." His notable credits include Legend Awesomeness: Kung Fu Panda, The Legend of Korra, Netflix’s live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Paramount's Avatar: The Legend of Aang. In 2024, he joined the "Avatar: The Last Airbender in Concert" world tour, performing across over ten countries, including the US, UK, Germany, France, Canada, and Australia etc,. Deeply rooted in musical heritage, Wang remains dedicated to seamlessly integrating traditional Chinese music onto the contemporary global stage.

汪洪是一位享誉国际的多元乐器演奏家与音乐学者。他曾任中国音乐学院研究员、国家大剧院、中唱和北京十三月发起的“国乐复兴计划”音乐总监,长期致力于传统音乐的田野调查与东方音乐研究。作为活跃于全球舞台的独奏家,汪洪频繁与各大顶尖交响乐团合作,并深耕好莱坞影视及游戏配乐领域。他以惊湛的跨乐器驾驭能力闻名,被《洛杉矶时报》誉为“一人乐队”。其代表作包括《功夫熊猫:神龙骑士》、《降世神通:科拉传奇》、Netflix真人版《阿凡达:最后的气宗》及派拉蒙新作《阿凡达:安的传奇》。2024年,他受邀加入“阿凡达”全球巡演音乐会,足迹遍及美、英、德、法、加、澳等十余国。汪洪始终立足于传统音乐研究,致力于推动中国传统音乐与当代世界舞台的跨文化融合。

Zhengyingyue “Elaine” Huang is an award-winning Chinese soprano with an international career, having performed in the United States, China, Mexico, and Russia . She has earned acclaim for her vibrant portrayals of leading operatic roles such as the title role in Suor Angelica, Fiodiligi in Cosi Fan Tutte. Dr. Huang also starred in the world premiere of the chamber opera Snow Angel . In 2021, Dr. Huang founded the Asian Classical Music Initiative (ACMI), a platform dedicated to promoting the works of Asian and Asian-American classical composers through concerts and international conferences . Her artistry has garnered top prizes, including First Place at the XI Odin International Music Competition (2023) and Second Place at the London Classical Music Competition (2024), among other honors .

黄郑莺悦博士是一位屡获殊荣的中国女高音,拥有活跃于国际舞台的演出经历,足迹遍及美国、中国、墨西哥和俄罗斯。她因在多部歌剧中成功诠释主角而备受赞誉,包括普契尼《修女安杰丽卡》中的同名角色,以及莫扎特《女人皆如此》中的菲奥迪莉吉。黄博士还在室内歌剧《雪天使》的全球首演中担任主演。黄博士创立了“亚洲古典音乐倡议”(ACMI),致力于通过音乐会和国际会议推广亚洲及亚裔古典作曲家作品。她的艺术成就屡获国际认可,曾荣获2023年第十一届奥丁国际音乐比赛一等奖,以及2024年伦敦古典音乐比赛二等奖等多个奖项。
